Nottingham Forest were beaten 2-0 by Manchester United at the City Ground and we’ve looked at the performance of Felipe who was outstanding.
The Reds slipped to another defeat courtesy of goals from Antony and Diogo Dalot.
Forest are bang in trouble. A point would have taken them out of the bottom three, but Forest never looked like claiming anything.
Felipe was different gravy despite the defeat. The 33-year-old can hold his head high, despite his teammates flailing around him.
The experienced performer was magnificent during his 90 minutes on the field. He signed for the Reds during the January transfer window Atletico Madrid.
Felipe played at centre-back alongside Moussa Niakhate and Scott McKenna. He stood out head and shoulders in the Forest team and he can hold his head high.
The man who signed in January has been faultless since arriving. Astonishingly, however, the Reds defender hasn’t played in a victory yet.
Something has to give with Forest. They’re now 10 without a win and are staring at an immediate return to the Championship.

Felipe shines but Forest are in trouble
This wasn’t an easy game for Forest. Manchester United were far the better side and could have scored more goals.
That wasn’t to the detriment of Felipe though who did his best. Sadly those around him simply let him down.
Felipe is a player that Forest signed for 18 months. He will, however, be a player that wants to play at the top level and keeping him in the second tier looks a pipedream.
The stylish central defender didn’t look fazed despite coming up against world class opposition and he can credit himself with a fantastic performance today.
