Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Keylor Navas has been praised by Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville. The man who spent his entire career playing for Manchester United hailed him on co-commentary yesterday.
The Red Devils tore Forest apart at the City Ground. Although the game only finished 2-0, it could have been so much more were it not for the brilliance of Navas between the posts.

The 36-year-old signed for Forest in January. He joined on loan from PSG until the end of the campaign and helped the Reds to a win on his debut against Leeds United.
Since then, however, the Reds haven’t won for 10 games. In that time they’ve collected just three points and the alarm bells are ringing pretty loud at the City Ground right now.
Navas couldn’t do any more to help the Forest cause yesterday. He made several outstanding saves and but for him, United would have won in a far more convincing fashion.
Neville told Sky Sports in the 74th minute: “Navas has been brilliant for Forest. He’s had to be. There are three United players rushing in and you just think it’s going to fall for one of them, but somehow he gets it past them all.”
Navas gets praise from Neville and he was outstanding yesterday
Bizarrely, the Costa Rican had started to receive some criticism from supporters. Here, however, he showcased exactly what he’s all about between the posts and highlighted that he’s still got world-class qualities.
Navas made several brilliant stops. For United’s first goal, his save from Anthony Martial was superb but unfortunately for him, Antony was on hand to tap home from close range.

Dean Henderson is nearing fitness following his thigh injury. As a result, it would appear that Steve Cooper will have a conundrum in the coming weeks when it comes to choosing his number one.
On yesterday’s performance, dropping Navas would be hard. He’s proven that he’s still got what it takes at the top level and Forest are extremely fortunate to have him.
