Nottingham Forest lost 2-0 to Manchester United on Sunday and Morgan Gibbs-White has reacted on Instagram. The club’s record signing wasn’t at his best on Sunday but he will leave no stone unturned to improve.

The Reds were well in the Premier League contest on Sunday. They were denied what looked like a stonewall penalty and then lost the game with goals from Antony and Diogo Dalot.

Forest’s season won’t be defined by games against teams with as much quality as United. However, with no wins in 10 games, including draws against Everton and Wolves, the situation is becoming precarious, to say the least.

Gibbs-White wasn’t at his very best during the clash. If anything, it feels like Cooper’s little tactical tweak has stifled the record signing and made him less effective around the pitch.

The 23-year-old has only scored twice this season. He’s also claimed five assists for his team and but for some woeful finishing, he would be sat on more assists for the campaign.

Gibbs-White checked in at Forest after the season had started from Wolves. He had looked a class above at times but just lately it would appear that his confidence has taken a substantial hit.

The young forward is still a wonderful talent. Right now, however, it’s as though he needs to go back to basics and simply stop trying so hard to make things happen constantly.

Forest desperately need him relaxed and in fine form for the last seven games. Their relegation hopes arguably hinge on whether or not he can get back to form and he;’s going to try his best.

Gibbs-White has taken to Instagram. Ahead of the Liverpool clash, he’s going to take a long, hard look at himself and posted: “Time to look in the mirror and roll our sleeves up.”

Forest face Liverpool on Saturday. They defeated Leeds 6-1 at Elland Road last night and with Forest in horrendous form, they will be eyeing more goals at the weekend.
