Paul Merson has predicted who will win out of Nottingham Forest and Liverpool this weekend. The Reds travel to Anfield on a run of no games without a win; whilst Jurgen Klopp’s team scored six against Leeds United on Monday night.
Forest head coach Steve Cooper is massively under pressure. A defeat against Liverpool this weekend will see the team go 11 games without a victory and things really are starting to look perilous for the Reds.

It had been 23 years since Forest graced the Premier League before they won promotion last May. Now, it all looks set to end after a single season in the top flight.
Merson certainly doesn’t think the fortunes of Forest will be changing too much this weekend. He’s backed Liverpool to win at a canter when the teams meet at Anfield.
He told Sportskeeda: “What scoreline do you want? This game is nearly a foregone conclusion because Nottingham Forest are atrocious away from home. I love the Premier League because there are no easy games, but this is as close as it gets.

“The way they pressed last week, Liverpool look like they’ve got the bit between their teeth again. I don’t see anything but a Liverpool victory in this fixture.”
Merson has predicted Liverpool v Nottingham Forest outcome
Many Forest fans would probably take a 4-0 defeat right now. That’s the scoreline that Merson feels will happen when the teams clash at Anfield.
The Reds have been feeble on the road. They’ve been all over the place defensively and have found the net just five times on their travels this season.

Cooper needs a performance from his players. The supporters have grown sick and tired of the feeble efforts of some of the players and it simply won’t do anymore.
Forest fans won’t travel to Merseyside expecting their team to win. They do, however, expect maximum effort and for some of their stars to roll up their sleeves.
