Nottingham Forest are competing with a number of clubs to sign Salernitana star Boulaye Dia in the summer.
According to, Salernitana News, Forest, Leicester, Leeds and Everton are all vying for the striker’s signature.
Dia is currently on loan at Salernitana from Villarreal and they have an option to sign him for around £10 million.

Premier League interest could turn his head though and several clubs are now showing an interest in the player.
Dia has been in fine form during 2022/23. He’s scored 11 goals and registered six assists from 28 appearances.
Salernitana would dearly love to sign him. He’s become a fan favourite at the club and at 26-years-old he’s approaching his peak.
Dia would surely jump at the chance to play in the Premier League though. Forest, in particular, will definitely need more firepower for next season.
The report does claim that relegation would end any chance of signing him, with Dia keen to stay in the top flight.
Forest have struggled for goals this season. Brennan Johnson is the top goalscorer, with Taiwo Awoniyi and Emmanuel Dennis both blowing hot and cold.
Sam Surridge also remains a Forest player. He’s unlikely to stay, however, if the Reds manage to retain their Premier League status this season.
Forest competing for Boulaye Dia this summer
Dia would come to Forest with a glowing reputation from his compatriot Sadio Mane.
In 2020, with the striker playing for Reims, Mane claimed that he was impressed with the striker.

He told the Ligue 1 website: “I think he won’t stay at Reims forever, believe me. Since the start of the season, I started to follow him and I’m really impressed.”
Given that Dia would likely be available at a bargain price, it’s no surprise clubs are interested.
If Forest stay up they could certainly do a lot worse than land Dia in a cut-price deal.
