Nottingham Forest star Morgan Gibbs-White has been lauded by Brian Laws live on air after last night’s 3-1 win over Brighton.
The Reds secured a big three points as they took advantage of some wayward finishing from the Seagulls.
Forest did fall behind. Facundo Bounanotte scored after 38 minutes to give the visitors a deserved lead.

A Pascal Gross own goal ensured the Reds went in level at the break, however, and from there it was all Forest.
Danilo scored in the 69th minute and Gibbs-White put the seal on the victory with a penalty kick in stoppage time.
Things could have been better for Forest. Brennan Johnson missed a penalty and a great chance both in the first half.
Laws knows all about playing for Forest in the top flight. He spent several years at the City Ground during his playing days.
The pundit was in awe of Gibbs-White after his penalty kick put the cap on a quality victory.
He said on BBC Radio Nottingham: “Take a bow, Morgan Gibbs-White. Now, that was pressure!”
Gibbs-White clearly enjoyed his goal even if it did come from the penalty spot.
The 23-year-old is a wonderful player and he worked tirelessly last night to ensure the Reds kept their survival hopes alive.

The Reds are so fortunate to have this young man in their ranks. He’s a hard worker and crucially he’s blessed with bags of talent.
Forest needed that badly last night and big moments call for big players to step up.
Johnson had been substituted when the Reds were awarded a second spot-kick and nobody was taking this one off Gibbs-White.

He buried his penalty sending Jason Steele the wrong way and the roof came off the City Ground.
Now, Gibbs-White must continue in this form. He’s got two goals in two games and a few more would be lovely.
If he can stay fit and firing for five more games, Forest might just keep themselves afloat this season.
