Nottingham Forest legend Garry Birtles has shared what Reds star Felipe is like in training.
The centre-back is proving a cult hero on Trentside, with his devastating defensive displays since he arrived.
Felipe came to the club from Atletico Madrid and signed an 18-month contract during the January transfer window.

The 33-year-old has looked quality whenever he played and remarkably last night was the first time he’s played in a victory.
Felipe cut a delighted figure on the pitch. He gave a jubilant lap of honour and was visibly buzzing to help the team to a win.

Birtles is very impressed with the defender and he’s had the luxury of seeing the player on the training ground.
The legend told The Garibaldi Red Podcast: “I’ve watched him in training and he’s the same in training as he is on a matchday. He doesn’t hold back at all.
“His leadership qualities, you can see it and I think the players around him feel that too. They look up to him, you can just feel it.”
Felipe is edging towards the end of his career. He’s in good shape, however, and Forest will hope to keep him if they remain in the Premier League.
Birtles shares what Felipe is like in Forest training
It’s no surprise that Birtles has experienced the player in a training session at the Nigel Doughty Academy.
Steve Cooper has openly said that he’s in regular contact with some of the club’s legends, with Birtles one of them.

It’s also no surprise to hear about Felipe. He’s a real heart-on-the-sleeve type of player and one that fans can resonate with.
The man from Atletico Madrid is a model professional and the younger players will naturally look up to him.
Felipe will be delighted to finally get a win under his belt at Forest and hopefully, more will follow.
