Sky Sports pundit Alan Smith has heaped praise on Nottingham Forest star Morgan Gibbs-White after Monday’s 4-3 win over Southampton.
The player scored and claimed an assist as Forest gave themselves a huge chance to remain in the Premier League.
Gibbs-White signed for Forest during the summer transfer window in a big-money deal from Wolves.

The Reds could end up forking out £42.5 million for Gibbs-White but right now he’s proving to be worth every single penny.
Forest need to ensure they don’t take their foot off the gas and with three games remaining they must now kick on.

Smith raved about Gibbs-White during the contest as he took up duties as the co-commentator for Sky Sports.
His praise came after the fourth Forest goal when Gibbs-White’s deft touch teed up Danilo brilliantly.
Smith told Sky Sports: “It comes courtesy of an exquisite Morgan Gibbs-White touch in there to set up Danilo. Have a look at that for subtlety. It’s a beautiful bit of awareness.
“Some of his touches have been sublime. He’s been at the heart of most things for Forest. This is one of the touches of the season I think. Great awareness.”
Smith delivers praise on Gibbs-White after Forest win
What a player Gibbs-White has proved to be over the last few weeks with Forest starting to show some fight.
It’s now two wins from three games for the Reds and Gibbs-White has been integral to Steve Cooper’s team.
The 23-year-old was the head coach’s number one target after promotion was secured and he’s not disappointed.

He’s now scored four goals and claimed six assists from 36 appearances in all competitions this season.
It hasn’t been an easy campaign but it’s fair to say that he has kicked on when it’s really mattered.
With three games remaining, the Reds’ star must continue his fine form for a little while longer.
