Nottingham Forest chief football officer Ross Wilson is set to make his first off-field appointment by adding Tom Stockwell.
The man who has left Southampton as their head of player insights is now set to arrive at the City Ground, as per The Athletic.
Premier League football won’t be on the cards for the Saints next season with their relegation confirmed on Saturday.

Now, they will undergo a bit of a rebuild and that will take place behind the scenes as well as on the pitch.
Stockwell has recently resigned from his position at Southampton and a move to Forest is set to take place.
The figure is a respected figure within the game and he did some great things at St Mary’s Stadium.
He was tasked with adding an analytical and data-driven edge to the scouting and recruitment department.
Forest will perhaps look for more appointments on that side of things with this season seeing plenty of staff depart.
Wilson has replaced Filippo Giraldi, whilst George Syrianos and Andy Scott have left the recruitment team.
The man who spent several years at Rangers is the man tasked by Evangelos Marinakis to sort things out off the pitch.
Now, Stockwell looks set to become the first big name to come into the City Ground under Wilson’s watch.
Wilson set to make appointment of Stockwell
The man who has recently departed Southampton looks like a very decent appointment.
Prior to this season, the Saints’ recruitment had been largely decent and their data-driven approach allowed them to attract some decent talent.

A large part of that was down to Stockwell and hopefully, he can enjoy similar success during his time at Forest.
Wilson will hope to add some more staff during the summer and Forest’s recruitment will be very appointment next season.
