TalkSPORT presenter and Arsenal fan Laura Woods has congratulated Nottingham Forest live on air this morning.
Talk on her breakfast show turned towards the fact that Forest have managed to survive relegation from the Premier League.
Despite signing a wealth of new players and taking some time to settle, it’s a case of mission accomplished for Forest.

The Reds have done the unthinkable with a game to spare and in the process handed Manchester City the title.
Forest defeated Arsenal 1-0 to turn the light out on their aspirations of lifting the Premier League trophy.
Woods is a huge Gunners fan but it does seem as though she’s quite happy that Forest are staying up.
She lauded the Reds this morning when a Forest fan called in and suggested that she’s quite happy that the club will remain in the Premier League.
Woods said live on TalkSPORT: “Congratulations to you guys, I’m glad they’ve stayed up. I never wanted them to go down and I think what they’ve done with how many new players, 30, it’s fantastic.”
Forest won the game after Taiwo Awoniyi’s goal in the first half and the Reds can now look forward to two more games with Arsenal next season.
Woods has congratulated Forest live on air
It’s nice to hear the talk turn towards Forest on national radio and Woods has weighed in after her team lost.
The award-winning host is a breath of fresh air when it comes to broadcasting and her stock continues to rise.
It’s rare they discuss Forest on her show, however, today an exception was made after the Reds claimed a big win.
She’s right too. Forest are a worthy member of the Premier League and thoroughly deserve to stay up.

The team’s home record is among the best in the league and they must keep up that when next season starts.
Thankfully, the Reds have dispelled the theory that signing lots of players can be a detrimental thing to do.
Hopefully, Woods and her guests are speaking about Forest more often next season following more positive results.
