Stuart Broad is Nottingham Forest through and through and he did something utterly brilliant on Saturday.
The England and Nottinghamshire quick bowler won’t have been happy with the scheduling of Forest’s clash v Arsenal.
He was in the Notts team that was taking on Essex at Trent Bridge so wasn’t able to attend the clash.

The atmosphere at the City Ground this season has been spectacular and on Saturday it was no different.
With Everton drawing earlier in the day, Forest’s incentive was clear. They knew a win would guarantee Premier League football next season.
The fans lapped that up and they cranked the volume up ten-fold on Trentside.
Broad was clearly keen to offer support to his team even if he was in action on the cricket field on the other side of Radcliffe Road.
Mull of Kintyre could be heard in full voice prior to kick off and Broad simply threw his arms in the air.
He joined in with the singing whilst he was fielding at mid-off and one eagle-eyed supporter captured his reaction.
Broad was recently interviewed by the club. He spoke about his time as a cricketer and how his love of Forest came around.
He will have been buzzing that Forest have stayed in the Premier League and he can now look forward to the Ashes with England.
Broad did something brilliant ahead of Forest v Arsenal
This was quite something by Broad and fans always seem to make him feel welcome when he attends games.
Broad’s reaction during Saturday’s rendition of Mull of Kintyre was quality and somewhat amusing.
It’s perhaps a good job he wasn’t called into action at mid-off; given that he was busy signing away.
The fact that the noise could be heard so clearly is also remarkable and the atmosphere on Trentisde at the weekend was something else.
Forest fans are some of the best in the country and the home form in front of those supporters has driven the team home this season.
