Micah Richards has heaped praise on Nottingham Forest manager Steve Cooper for keeping the Reds in the Premier League.
Forest were discussed on last night’s Monday Night Club and Richards is a huge fan of Cooper’s.

The Reds kept their Premier League status intact with a 1-0 win over Arsenal at the City Ground on Saturday evening.
The relief was etched all over Cooper’s face after the game in which Taiwo Awoniyi scored the only goal.
Forest have defied the odds by staying up this season and they can now look forward to Premier League football once more.
Talk turned to Forest on last night’s Monday Night Club and it’s clear that Richards is a huge fan of Cooper.
The pundit explained: “He’s been absolutely brilliant. It’s been strange this season for Forest bringing in that many players. They went through a sticky patch and they gave him a new deal.
“Towards the end of the season, they’ve stepped up when it matters. The way the atmosphere has galvanized the squad and it’s one of the best atmospheres I’ve seen in the Premier League.
“The manager had a cool, calm head across the season and the manager has been a big factor why they’ve stayed up this season.”
Richards has heaped praise on Cooper as Forest stay up
It’s been a remarkable few weeks for the Reds. Before the team beat Brighton, they had gone 11 games without claiming a win – a run stretching back two months.

But that win changed everything. It gave the team some serious belief and they beat Southampton and Arsenal at home in the aftermath of that result.
Cooper deserves every plaudit that comes his way. His team have been mocked and ridiculed by pundits all season.
Now, he can relax and look forward to overseeing another season of Premier League football at the City Ground.
