Nathan Ake has mentioned Manchester City’s draw against Nottingham Forest when discussing his team’s title win.
Ake played against the Reds when a late Chris Wood goal earned Forest an unlikely point against the champions.
Forest were battered in truth. City missed a number of chances and in the end, they had to settle for a point from the contest.

Ake has now claimed that some stern words were had in the dressing room at Forest after that game.
Ilkay Gundogan recently claimed that they now consider that moment as the turning point of their campaign.

City haven’t dropped a single point since that draw back in February and Forest’s win over Arsenal on Saturday handed them the title.
Ake has praised Forest during a recent interview and claimed that they found that particular afternoon tough.
He told The Monday Night Club: “We had a few meetings to be fair. At that period, we’d won against Arsenal but then we drew in Nottingham.
“Obviously it’s a tough place to go but that game especially we should have scored so many more goals.
“We spoke in the changing rooms and they made sure everyone was on it from then.”
Ake makes comment about Forest after City Ground draw
Forest’s form at the City Ground has been impressive this season. The atmosphere has been cracking and teams have found it hard.
It’s fair to say that City were desperately unlucky. They missed several quality chances and should have been out of sight.

Still, Forest were thankful for the point and now they can look forward to two more fixtures against City next season.
Ake spoke well on the radio last night and it’s interesting that even the top players find the City Ground a tough place to come.
Forest know that next season will be tough too and they must maintain their strong home form.
