Nottingham Forest will come up against Ibrahim Sangare tonight as he’s been named to start for PSV against the Reds.
Forest have made Sangare their number one target. Steve Cooper is desperate to add a central midfielder to his ranks, with the 25-year-old a top target.
Sangare has been with the Eredivisie outfit since 2020 when he signed from Toulouse. He’s made 133 appearances in Holland but a new chapter could be on the horizon.

Forest tried to sign the player last summer. On that occasion, they chose to pursue other options but now his £32 million release clause could be activated.
It’s been claimed this week that Forest will look to thrash out talks whilst they’re in Holland. With the season just a fortnight away, it would be ideal to get things sorted.

Now, Forest will get a close look at Sangare. The powerhouse will start later tonight as Steve Cooper’s team face a stern test.
The Reds have picked their team and there is no Taiwo Awoniyi. He will miss out after taking a knock in the game against Leeds on Thursday.
Morgan Gibbs-White does return to the starting line-up for his first pre-season outing. New signing Anthony Elanga is on the bench
Forest to get glimpse of Sangare this evening
The Reds will be keen to see how the player gets on this afternoon. He will come up against Orel Mangala and Danilo who are both starting for Forest.
Sangare will likely leave PSV this summer. Forest are at the front of the queue for his signature but it’s claimed that he needs convincing to join.

The powerful performer is a quality player. He has all of the attributes that Forest are missing in their defence-minded midfield role.
Sangare will hope to impress against a club that wants to sign him. Maybe after today’s game the landscape over his potential signing for Forest could become more clear.
