Nottingham Forest star Matt Turner made a name for himself on his home debut and received praise on Instagram. The 29-year-old was playing for the Reds on home soil for the first time as they defeated Sheffield United 2-1.
Forest needed a late Chris Wood header to secure three points. The Reds stayed in the game thanks to Turner though and his save from Benie Traore proved decisive in the end.

Steve Cooper will have been delighted to get his huge win. However, Forest will be under no illusions that they have to improve and must cut out some of the silly mistakes they made.
Turner looks like a very useful signing for Forest to make. He has a point to prove to people and he’s made good saves in both of his first two games for the Reds.
The USA international made just seven appearances for the Gunners. None of those came in the Premier League and he will be desperate to prove himself.

There is more to come from Turner. With the Reds in the market for another goalkeeper, it’s clear that he will want to keep performing well and helping Forest to claim even more points.
