French side Lyon have tabled a bid for Nottingham Forest target Guido Rodriguez.
The Real Betis midfielder’s contract expires next summer, with the Spanish side looking to recoup around €10 million on the 29-year-old.
Argentinian Rodriguez has made 116 appearances for Betis within the last three years, since joining the club from Mexican side Club America.
It remains to be seen whether Lyon’s offer will be accepted, but according to journalist Cesar Luis Merlo, Rodriguez has already agreed personal terms with the club.

Still no defensive midfielder for Nottingham Forest
The majority of the Reds’ transfer budget this window looks set to be invested in an elite-level defensive midfielder.
It is no secret that Forest’s top target is PSV’s Ibrahim Sangare, but the Reds saw their latest bid of a loan-to-buy rejected by the Dutch side.
Cooper’s side have also made a €35 million plus add-ons bid for Monaco’s Youssouf Fofana, but no response has been received in a deal for the French international.
With Lyon’s bid for Rodriguez, Forest are still no closer to completing any deal for the elite-level midfielder they so desperately desire.
However, if they are to sign a new defensive-minded midfielder, they may need to push even harder with just nine days left to go in the summer transfer window.
