Nottingham Forest midfielder Danilo has spoken out about his start to life at the club after joining from Palmeiras for £18 million back in January.
The 22-year-old Brazilian has made 15 appearances for the Reds, scoring in three successive games as he helped clinch survival for Forest last season.
‘Wonderkid‘ Danilo signed a six-and-a-half-year deal upon his arrival, admitting that he already he feels at home in Nottingham.
He joined the club alongside fellow countryman and Palmerias teammate Gustavo Scarpa, but the 29-year-old has struggled to hit the ground running like Danilo, subsequently going out on loan to Olympiacos for this campaign.

What has Danilo said about life at Nottingham Forest?
Leaving home for a new country when you speak none of the language is tough for anyone, never mind a 22-year-old.
MORE FOREST STORIES
TalkSPORT radio covered the Reds this morning, with a snippet about Danilo and his time in England at Nottingham Forest.
“I’m really happy here, at Nottingham Forest.
“Happy like I was in Palmeiras and I hope to continue and pick up where I left off last season and achieve even more.”

The midfielder certainly enjoyed a purple patch in form towards the back end of last, proving himself to be a very talented young player.
Despite being just 22, the Brazilian has already cemented his place in the Reds’ first-team, becoming a key component in the system Steve Cooper wants to play.
He certainly has the world at his feet, but hopefully, he can continue on the right path and have a long, successful career at the City Ground.
