Nottingham Forest target Luiz Felipe is in advanced talks to join Saudi Arabian side Al Ittihad on a permanent deal.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the 26-year-old has agreed personal terms with Nuno Espirito Santo’s side and is set to join for €25 million.
The current Real Betis defender was linked with a move to the City Ground earlier on in the transfer window, but the Reds seemingly turned their attention to Corinthians’ Murillo.
Steve Cooper’s side are still in the market for another central defender, with Tottenham’s Davinson Sanchez a name high up on the Reds’ shopping list.

The search for another centre-back may have to continue
Felipe has been with Betis since last summer when he joined from Serie A side Lazio. He’d been with the Italian club for six years and has also played for Salernitana in Italy’s top division.

Despite this, the 26-year-old is set to be on the move from Betis after just a season playing in La Liga. He did, however, play the full 90 minutes at the weekend and it would appear that the club would like to keep him.

As for Forest, with Moussa Niakhate returning from injury, they have another option at the back, but Joe Worrall’s red card has seen them fall back to just three centre-back options.
Cooper will certainly be wanting another body in that department despite Murillo travelling for his Forest medical today.
With just three days until the closure of the summer transfer window, any business that takes place at Nottingham Forest will have to be wrapped up very soon.
