Nottingham Forest forward Emmanuel Dennis is very close to joining Serie A side Udinese for a deal in the region of €8 million.
The 25-year-old joined the Reds for a reported £20 million from Watford last summer but failed to hit the heights he achieved at Vicarage Road.
Nigerian striker Dennis made 19 appearances for Steve Cooper’s side in all competitions last season, scoring twice but has yet to be included in a matchday squad so far this season.
Dennis was said to be of interest from fellow Premier League side Crystal Palace, but it seems as though he is heading for Italy to join Udinese.

A good move for all parties involved
Cooper has made it clear that the forward is not in his plans for the upcoming campaign. Although the club will be making a loss on the Nigerian, he is still going for a decent sum, allowing for investments to be made elsewhere.
MORE FOREST STORIES
The Reds have wasted no time in eyeing up another body in the forward department, with the club having an £8 million bid accepted by Chelsea for Callum Hudson-Odoi, with personal terms already agreed.

Forest are also rumoured to be in talks to sign Fenerbache striker Michy Batshuayi for a fee in the region of £7 million.
Significant business is being done at the City Ground with just two days until the end of the transfer window.
Dennis’ potential departure has freed up space in the Premier League 25-man squad, whilst providing a needed cash injection to allow for new players to arrive at the club.
