Nottingham Forest have virtually agreed a deal to sign PSV midfielder Ibrahim Sangare according to John Percy.
The 25-year-old has a £32 million release clause, with the Ivorian still keen on a move to the City Ground before the closure of the transfer window tonight.
However, any deal for the midfielder will depend on whether a deal can be agreed with Tottenham for the departure of Brennan Johnson.
Steve Cooper’s side are holding out for at least £50 million for the 22-year-old Welsh international, with Spurs confident on agreeing a deal for the winger.

Could a deal be concluded for Ibrahim Sangare?
At 25-years-old, Sangare would be a vital player for Forest in the present but also in the future.
MORE FOREST STORIES
He would provide the steel in midfield that Forest has perhaps lacked more often than not during the 2022/23 campaign.
It is clear where Cooper wants to strengthen before the end of the window tonight.

The Reds have made multiple bids for Sangare, with offers also submitted for midfielders Youssouf Fofana of Monaco and Real Betis’ Guido Rodriguez.
However, there is a sense that the saga for a ‘number six’ may come to an end with the latest bid for PSV’s midfielder.
With Forest set to match their valuation for the 25-year-old, it is all down to Sangare himself whether or not he wants to move to Nottingham Forest.
