Nottingham Forest forward Anthony Elanga has reacted after he helped secure a 1-0 win over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Elanga’s first Premier League goal in 19 months was the difference between the two sides in a game that lacked real quality in the attacking thirds.
Despite his goal, the 21-year-old was full of praise for the team effort in securing Forest’s first three points away from home since January.

Anthony Elanga full of praise after victory
Speaking to Sky Sports after the game, Elanga was delighted to score, but happier that the side collected a valuable three points.
“It’s a really important [win]. In our last two away Premier League games we’ve been close to winning, Arsenal in the last 10 minutes, but [Manchester] United we were winning 2-0.

“I feel like we’re building something and it was really important we got the win away from home today because it’s something we’re trying to work on.
“We deserved to win, worked hard and defended well with and without the ball.

“We played in a low block, but when we win the ball back I know I’m quick enough to get in their half and create opportunities.
“The goal is something I can build on, but I need to play to build that confidence, something which I didn’t get at United.
“Now I’m here I’ve got the confidence of the manager, and hopefully I can turn these opportunities into consistent starts.”
