Nottingham Forest duo Giulian Biancone and Cheikhou Kouyate could leave the City Ground for Olympiacos.

According to Gazzetta in Greece, the Reds could now offload two more players before another deadline.

Olympiacos have until next Monday to finalise their squad and two Forest players are in their sights.

Kouyate has just a year to run on his deal, whilst Biancone hasn’t played a competitive game since damaging his knee ligaments.

In terms of Kouyate, the move would definitely make sense. He will surely be shunted down the pecking order after Nicolas Dominguez and Ibrahim Sangare signed on deadline day.

The midfield battering ram is 33-years-old and he will be craving regular game time at this stage of his career.

As for Biancone, he needs match action. He’s hardly played at all since signing for the Reds last summer.

At 23, he might be kept on the books at the City Ground but a loan move would be very useful.

He arrived from Troyes last summer with a burgeoning reputation and getting him some game time would be useful.

Kouyate and Biancone linked with exit from Forest

It would be intriguing to see if Steve Cooper would be happy to sanction these exits.

Kouayte is a player who has been called ‘fantastic’ by the head coach and Forest have to be mindful of his experience.

Still, with Dominguez and Sangare both now on the books, surely his game time at Forest will prove restricted.

Biancone is one that Forest have to look at moving on at the very least on a temporary basis.

The player wasn’t even on the bench in the Carabao Cup defeat to Burnley and it’s hard to imagine where he now gets minutes.

Having Olympiacos as a sister club is ideal and Evangelos Marinakis could help streamline the squad in the coming days.
