Nottingham Forest defender Willy Boly has been praised by Alan Shearer for his efforts on Saturday as the Reds beat Chelsea 1-0.
The pundit has named the Forest defender in his Premier League Team of the Week. He joins Joe Worrall who was also named among the picks of the week.

It was a wonderful win for the Reds. Forest went to Chelsea with a clear game plan and won the day courtesy of a goal from Anthony Elanga early in the second half.
Boly was perhaps a surprise name on the team sheet. He started ahead of Felipe and Moussa Niakhate who were both among the substitutes.
The experienced defender was brilliant though. He won more headers than anyone on the pitch and even battled on after picking up a late niggle.

Shearer was impressed with the player. He named him in the Team of the Week and said of his performance: “Used his experience to frustrate Chelsea. Marshalled his team really well.”
Shearer named Forest defender Boly in Team of the Week
This is deserved for Boly. He’s been good in the Premier League since joining Forest and the challenge for the 32-year-old is to stay fit.
The Ivorian has endured some injury issues during his time at Forest. He’s started the current campaign with a point to prove though and that bodes well.

Forest now have a number of central defenders to choose from. Andrew Omobamidele is the latest to check in at the City Ground from Norwich City.
Boly currently has a shirt in his possession though. Steve Cooper is renowned for rewarding good form and that should help the defender keep his place.
