Nottingham Forest v Burnley: What’s the story?

Forest have already lost to Burnley once this season in the Carabao Cup. However, this game looks like being so much different for many different aspects.

For starters, tonight will see both teams pick strong teams. Morgan Gibbs-White and Taiwo Awoniyi were both only on the bench last time around.

Tonight, it will be a strong team to play the Clarets. Steve Cooper knows he can go to nine points after just five games with a win this evening.

Forest will want to make the City Ground a fortress again. Last season, 30 of Forest’s points came on home soil and they need that sort of consistency once again.

The Reds defeated Chelsea at Stamford Bridge last time out. Anthony Elanga scores his first goal of the campaign to give Forest a huge three points.

It’s been a different tale of the tape for Burnley. They’ve lost all three Premier League games they’ve played against Manchester City, Aston Villa and Tottenham.

Broadcast details

Tonight’s game has been moved to Monday for live broadcast on Sky Sports. Jamie Carragher and Dave Jones will be joined by Brentford boss Thomas Frank in the studio.

As ever, the game will also be live on BBC Radio Nottingham.
