Now, it would appear as though it’s soon going to be party time at the City Ground but not in a football sense. The club have teased that Take That are going to be playing at the world-famous.

The band are set to embark on Nottingham for another of their quality tours. Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald look likely to head to the City Ground for one leg of their tour.

Several other football clubs have mocked up these images in preparation for an announcement. The band have had no fewer than 12 UK number one singles and to fans of a certain age they will soon be flocking to Trentside for a glimpse of the band.

This is sure to be a big night at the City Ground. It’s hard to remember when a bad last played on Trentside, although REM have definitely taken centre-stage at the stadium before.

Take That will likely be bringing their classic collection of songs at the end of the season. Indeed, if Leigh Wood beats Josh Warrington on the 7th October, it could prove a very busy summer for the stadium.

The boyband have been depleted over the years. Robbie Williams left in the nineties and more recently they were rocked when Jason Orange chose to call it day.

Now, the three remaining members of the band are still going strong, however. It would seem as though they will be gracing the City Ground in the very near future.
