Just over a year on from saying that Nottingham Forest would be the first Premier League club to sack their manager, Tony Cascarino is at it again.
The TalkSPORT pundit has once again been pretty disrespectful about the Reds. Forest lost 2-0 to Manchester City at the weekend to lose for the third time this season.

It’s still been a pretty positive start to the campaign for Forest. They have seven points from six games, however, and given the away games they’ve played it’s a decent total.
Saturday’s game hinged on a flashpoint just after half-time. Rodri was sent off for City and following that point, Forest had a really good go and forced Ederson into a couple of good saves.
Cascarino didn’t see it like that though. He bizarrely felt that City were still comfortable in the contest and even felt they’d still win even if things got even worse for them.
He told TalkSPORT: “A red card is normally such a punishment for a team to go down to 10 players but for Manchester City, it’s not. They could probably go down to 9 players and still win that game against Forest. All it did was stop it going to four of five-nil going to 10 men.”
Forest gave it a really good go and on another day they might have taken something against 10 men. Steve Cooper claimed afterwards that creating better chances still remains the order of the day.
Cascarino delivers disrespectful Forest comments again
The pundit might view this as a throwaway comment but it’s a little bit disrespectful. To basically say that City could have beaten Forest with nine men is very catty, to say the least.
Cascarino is a decent pundit and in fairness, his comments about Cooper last season were a little out of context. He basically said if the poor form continued he wouldn’t be surprised if the club sacked him.

Of course, the club kept the faith and Cooper has now been in charge for two years. The club has improved considerably this season on the field and hopefully, they can remain competitive away from home.
Cascarino is right to rave about City. However, with how the game was panning out, Forest might have managed to score one or two had the hosts been reduced to nine men at the weekend.
