Clinton Morrison raved about three Nottingham Forest players during Sunday’s game against Brentford. The Reds were forced to play for over half an hour with 10 men but managed to draw the game 1-1.

The pundit picked out three players after the game. He thought they all coped well during the contest and felt that they all added something to the game.

Morrison is typically a pundit who praises Forest. His two sons have played for the academy in the past and the club are one that he’s been around a lot over the last few years.

These comments from Morrison were made on BBC Sport. He was covering the game for Radio 5 Live and three players caught his eye in the first half of the clash.

He said live on air: “Forest’s movement is really good. Hudson-Odoi and Elanga, they’re like the danger men. They look good and Sangare in midfield. He looks like a good player as well.”

Forest need to get a settled team together now. In the three games that have been played since the international break, Steve Cooper has been unable to really play the same eleven players.

Having that continuity is a must. Hopefully, as the season progresses things can settle down and Cooper will establish who he views as his best eleven players.

Forest need a win

Although this was another game where Forest weren’t beaten, the Reds haven’t won since the beat Chelsea. That game came before the last international break and they’ve now gone three games without victory.

Hopefully, the fortunes can turn around soon. Next up it’s a trip to Crystal Palace and after they beat Manchester United on the road, they will be high on confidence.

Forest can’t go into their shells at Selhurst Park. They will need the likes of Sangare, Hudson-Odoi and Elanga to be bang at it and hopefully, the team can claim more points.
