Steve Cooper has spoken about the availability of Ola Aina ahead of tomorrow’s trip to face Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
The 26-year-old joined the Reds on a free transfer this summer but hasn’t featured since the 2-0 defeat away at Manchester City through injury.
However, despite his current injury worry, Aina has been selected to represent Nigeria in their games against Saudi Arabia and Mozambique.
He’s had a great start to life at the City Ground, especially considering he’s mostly played out of position during his time at the club.

Steve Cooper on Ola Aina
Whilst it’s unknown what kind of injury Aina has sustained, the Forest boss gave a two-word answer as to whether he could return on Saturday.
When asked if Aina will play this weekend Cooper said “We’ll see.”
Cooper is being as secretive as ever when it comes to his team selection, but should he miss out he’ll join Tavares on the injury list, highlighting Forest’s lack of depth at left-back.

Tavares to miss out, Aina doubtful – another left-back crisis?
Although there is only one game left before a two-week international break, Forest’s lack of bodies in the left-back area could be a cause for concern.
Every Forest fan knows how troubled the left-back position is for the club.
Moussa Niakhate is suspended, with Tavares injured and Ola Aina not yet fully fit – leaving Toffolo as the Reds’ only out-and-out left-back.
Toffolo is more than capable of doing a job on the left-hand side and hopefully, he gets his chance from the start on Saturday – continuing on from his impressive display on Sunday.
