Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Nottingham Forest are really impressed with Murillo. The centre-back has made his first two appearances for the club in the last week, impressing in both games.
The defender signed for Forest from Corinthians in the summer transfer window. A left-sided central defender, the 21-year-old has caught the eye in games against Brentford and Crystal Palace.

Murillo has seemingly taken to life in the Premier League very well. He doesn’t look fazed by too much and he will now feel that he’s the man in possession of the shirt on the left-hand side of the central defensive unit.
Romano says Forest are happy with Murillo
The transfer guru has copped some flak from the Forest fan base in recent weeks. He was very vocal in Forest choosing not to play Andrey Santos who is on loan from Chelsea and some supporters weren’t impressed.
Now, he’s made a positive claim about Forest on Twitter. He’s suggested that the club are extremely happy with their capture of Murillo having fought off competition to sign him.
Forest paid just £10.4 million for his signature in the summer. There are a number of add-ons included but the deal still represents brilliant value for money from the Reds’ perspective.
Murillo can truly star at the City Ground
It’s early days but Murillo has shown flashes of brilliance in both games he’s played for Forest. He has a brilliant passing range for a central defender and he looks a very steady signing.

The Reds need to continue allowing the player a chance to star in the team at Forest. Under head coach Steve Cooper he should get plenty of chances and clearly, he’s happy with him.
Forest look to have hit the jackpot with Murillo. Now, he will hope to continue proving himself at the club and right now, he looks undroppable from the Forest team.
