Morgan Gibbs-White is excited to play with Ibrahim Sangare at Nottingham Forest. He’s made three appearances alongside the midfielder so far and has now compared him to Yaya Toure.
The Reds smashed their transfer record in the summer to sign the player from PSV. He cost the club £30 million and signed shortly after Brennan Johnson had joined Tottenham.
Sangare will need time to settle in the Premier League. So far, he’s shown flashes of what he’s capable of and Gibbs-White has now heaped praise on his new teammate.

What a comparison! To be compared to Toure is quite something and it’s easy to see why Gibbs-White does feel so strongly about the new Forest signing.
Sangare has the potential to light up the Premier League. Hopefully, he can continue to settle in just nicely and help Forest progress in the division this season.
Gibbs-White was quizzed on his new Forest teammate recently. He has some very high praise indeed for Sangare and feels that his qualities are similar to those that Toure possessed.
Gibbs-White told Premier League Productions: “We played against PSV in pre-season and yeah, he’s a problem! I’m talking Yaya Toure 2.0! He’s so strong, he’s explosive, he can take players on and technically he’s just very good.”

It’s not been an easy start for the Ivorian but he’s still getting to grips with how Forest play. Furthermore, the games have been coming thick and fast and he has to adapt to a new country.
The Reds are lucky to have Sangare. Steve Cooper will continue to back the player given that he was the one who courted him all summer as his number one target.
With Gibbs-White also striving for some confidence, the pair could actually help each other. Sangare’s presence should allow the shackles off Gibbs-White and that can only help Forest.
