It seems as though Nottingham Forest aren’t the only side that are continuing to monitor Stuttgart’s 27-year-old striker Serhou Guirassy.
According to 90 min, Forest remain interested in the striker, with Brentford and West Ham also interested in signing the Guinea international.
Guirassy already has 13 league goals this campaign, including two hat-tricks against Mainz and Wolfsburg – with his goals firing Stuttgart to second in the Bundesliga after seven matches.
The 27-year-old only joined Stuttgart on a permanent basis this summer after an impressive loan spell last campaign, but his new deal sees him have a €20 million release clause – an absolute bargain.

Multiple sides interested in Guirassy
Forest have three solid forward options, with Taiwo Awoniyi, Chris Wood after his loan deal was made permanent this summer, and Divock Origi also joining the club on loan during the summer transfer window.
Despite this, Guirassy would be a brilliant signing who clearly possesses an excellent goalscoring ability as demonstrated so far this season.
Last season proved a very successful one for the uncompromising striker. He bagged 14 goals despite a season of struggle for Stuttgart which saw them keep their Bundesliga place through the relegation play-offs.
However, this season he’s taken his performances to the next level, with the 27-year-old just one goal off his tally from last campaign after just seven outings.

Guirassy open to Premier League move
Speaking to Bild at the end of September, the in-form striker refused to rule out a future move to England’s top flight.
“We [Stuttgart] have a good team, a good coach and incredible fans. We feel very comfortable as a family in Stuttgart. That’s why I decided to stay at VfB.
“Not exactly a dream. But if there is an option to move to the Premier League at some point, why not? But it’s not like I dream about it every day.”
