Nottingham Forest star Anthony Elanga received some praise from Brian Laws during yesterday’s 2-2 draw with Luton. The Reds had to settle for a share of the spoils despite leading 2-0 with 14 minutes remaining.
Elanga is a player who was handed a bit of a rare start yesterday. He’s found getting into the team difficult and he will now hope to start more games for the Reds.

The winger was added to the ranks from Manchester United for a fee of £15 million. He’s looked sharp when he has been called upon and claimed two assists yesterday.
Elanga gets praise from Laws during Forest draw
At 21-years-old the future looks very bright for Elanga at Forest. Steve Cooper clearly values him as a player and hopefully, he can continue putting in the performances.
Laws was very impressed with the player during the contest. After he teed up Chris Wood to score his and Forest’s second goal of the afternoon, he raved about the youngster.
He said live on BBC Radio Nottingham: “It’s a terrific cross from Anthony Elanga. Really good.”
Elanga now has three assists and a goal for the campaign. Considering that he’s largely been used as a substitute late in games, that has to be seen as a useful return.
Elanga will now get real chance to star
It was announced after yesterday’s game that Callum Hudson-Odoi will be out of action for six weeks. As a result, Elanga must now be hoping that he can remain in the team for the foreseeable.

The player signed from United has box office attributes and he will be keen to make a name for himself now. Yesterday, his two assists showed what he’s capable of and there is more to come.
Elanga looks like a good character in the Forest dressing room. He gives his all every time he plays and hopefully, he can now really kick on in a Forest shirt.
