Arijanet Muric flopped at Nottingham Forest and he could now join Loic Bade at Sevilla. The pair both failed to make names for themselves on Trentside but could now end up at the same club.

The goalkeeper is currently playing for Burnley. However, he’s found regular football hard to come by following the summer arrival of James Trafford from Manchester City.

Now, it’s been claimed that he could be on the move in January. Muric is a wanted man and the 24-year-old appears to be craving regular first-team football.

Forest flop Muric wanted by several clubs

Florian Plettenberg is the transfer guru for Sky over in Germany and he believes a number of clubs want Muric. Sevilla and Union Berlin are the two that the correspondent has mentioned.

Muric was integral for Burnley last season as the Clarets romped to the Championship title. The same can’t be said for the youngster when he played for Forest where he struggled badly.

It was the Sabri Lamouchi era when Muric was added to the Forest ranks. He made just five appearances for the Reds before being replaced by Brice Samba and being forced into a deputy role.

Muric could now join Bade

This would be quite something. Two players who were either ineffective or in Bade’s case simply didn’t play, could soon be strutting their stuff alongside each other in European competition.

Bade was an intriguing signing by Forest. Much like Muric, he came with a big reputation but for some reason, Steve Cooper never gave him a chance to express himself.

The joke was on Forest with Bade last season. He went to Sevilla and won the Europa League to leave the Reds wondering what might have been had they dared to pick him.

As for Muric, he’s at the age where he simply needs to play regular football. He won’t be happy to have fallen behind Trafford and the man who played for Forest could soon be a La Liga player.
