Nottingham Forest are starting to investigate the reason behind the amount of injuries the club have suffered so far this season.

The Reds have one of the biggest injury lists in the Premier League, with multiple players having suffered muscular injuries this season.

According to The Telegraph, the club are attempting to diagnose the issues at the club, with five first-team players currently out injured with muscle problems.

The report also states that most of the musclar injuries that have been suffered this season have been picked up during training sessions.

Injuries still affecting Forest

For large parts of last season, Steve Cooper’s side were without multiple key players due to injuries with the unlucky spell continuing this season.

Since last campaign, the Reds have added to their physiotherapy department to try and prevent anymore injuries.

Forest brought in John Fearn, a former Chelsea physio with over 30 years worth of experience including 13 years at Stamford Bridge.

However, it seems as though any efforts to stop training ground issues have been in vein with Chris Wood the latest player to be sidelined with a hamstring problem.

Where do Forest go from here?

Questions have to be asked about what is happening during Cooper’s training sessions that has seen multiple injuries occur.

Of course, Cooper will want to put his players through their paces ahead of a matchday, but the amount of injuries picked up through training sessions is unheard of.

For the sake of Cooper and the players, hopefully, a solution can be found to stop these events from occurring.
