Robbie Savage has delivered his prediction on Nottingham Forest as they prepare to face in-form Aston Villa this weekend.
Steve Cooper’s side are without a win in over two months, with their last victory coming over Chelsea in September – thanks to an Anthony Elanga goal.
Forest will be facing another tough test on Sunday, against an Aston Villa side who have enjoyed a brilliant start to the new campaign under boss Unai Emery – with his side currently sitting in fifth place.
Former Derby County man Savage admits that Forest must win to keep up their good home form, but thinks Villa will take all three points from the game at the City Ground.

Savage predicts another Aston Villa win
In his column with Football365, the pundit has predicted a comfortable victory for Emery’s side at the City Ground.

“Aston Villa are in fine form, unbeaten in their last six in all competitions and scoring goals. Ollie Watkins is in fine form, Douglas Luiz also playing well, he’s been a key player for them.
“What a job Unai Emery has done. Nottingham Forest need to win this one. Their home form last season was one of the reasons they stayed in the Premier League. It’s not as good this year.
“It’s a game they’ll be looking to win, but I don’t think they will.
“Aston Villa, aren’t great on the road, but I think they’ve got enough to beat Forest.”
Prediction: Nottingham Forest 0-2 Aston Villa
Can Cooper mastermind an upset?
In recent times, Steve Cooper’s side have made the City Ground a fortress only losing two of the last 19 league home matches.
Sunday’s game will be another tough test, facing a side who have only suffered two defeats in the Premier League so far this season.
Emery’s side haven’t lost since they fell to a 3-0 defeat against Liverpool at Anfield back on September 3rd, with Villa looking to move into the top four this weekend.
