Former Blackburn Rovers and Celtic striker Chris Sutton has made his prediction ahead of Nottingham Forest’s trip to face West Ham on Sunday.

Steve Cooper and his side are looking for a second win in a row after picking up a valuable 2-0 win against Aston Villa at the City Ground last weekend.

Meanwhile, David Moyes’ West Ham won in the Europa League on Thursday night against Olympiacos – a side also owned by Evangelos Marinakis – with Forest boss Cooper also in attendance.

The Hammers haven’t won a Premier League game since the end of September, but Sutton still thinks they will claim all three points at the London Stadium.

Sutton on West Ham and Forest clash

In his weekly predictions with BBC Sport, the pundit has predicted a rare Premier League win for Moyes’ side on Sunday.

“It’s four league defeats in a row now for West Ham and they are falling away a bit after starting the season so well.

“I don’t think they have been playing that badly but David Moyes has been unhappy with the way they have conceded some of the goals that have cost them games.

“I actually have a feeling they will nick this one though.

“Nottingham Forest’s away form is much improved and they will probably try to keep things tight, but West Ham will find a way to win it.”

Sutton’s prediction: West Ham United 2-1 Nottingham Forest

Forest should be full of confidence ahead of West Ham clash

Following a brilliant display against Unai Emery’s Villa last weekend, Cooper’s side must come into this game full of confidence.

They produced a brilliant all-round display with the Reds looking comfortable at the back whilst causing problems on the counter.

The Reds have looked much better away from home this season, with tomorrow a great opportunity to add to their tally of away wins this season.
