Nottingham Forest midfielder Ibrahim Sangare has picked the player that he believes is the quickest player at the club. The Ivorian star has been discussing his teammates in an interview with the Reds’ media team.

The 25-year-old moved to the City Ground on transfer deadline day in the summer. He cost the club £30 million from PSV and is slowly but surely starting to showcase his class.

Sangare has been striking up a relationship in the Forest engine room with Nicolas Dominguez and Orel Mangala. Last weekend in the win over Aston Villa, things seemed to click for the Reds and Sangare will hope to kick on.

This week, Sangare was quizzed on his teammates. It was a light-hearted interview with the club’s media team and the player picked Ola Aina as the quickest Reds star.

He said during the YouTube video: “Ola – super fast runner. No doubt about that.”

Aina also joined the Reds in the summer. He signed for Forest before Sangare and was actually the club’s maiden signing of the summer transfer window.

Sangare will hope to kick on

The midfielder can clearly play football. He’s taken some time to adapt to English football and the Premier League but there is clearly talent in the locker.

Sangare is playing a slightly different role at Forest. He’s been tasked with box-to-box responsibilities and naturally, there has been a settling-in period at the City Ground.

Both Sangare and Aina are looking like good pieces of business. In truth, there is more to come from both players and hopefully, they will get more chances in the team under Steve Cooper.
