Nottingham Forest were beaten 3-2 by West Ham at The London Stadium in an enthralling game and Murillo did something rather strange at half-time.

The Reds scored either side of half-time to go into a 2-1 lead. However, just 43 seconds after Anthony Elanga had put Forest in the lead, West Ham were level through Jarrod Bowen.

Murillo was starting another game for Forest following some fine form. The Brazilian was actually forced off in the second half, appearing to be in some discomfort with his hamstring.

Murillo did something strange at half-time

Sky Sports picked up Forest defender Murillo swapping shirts with Lucas Paqueta at half-time. It’s not particularly conventional for that sort of thing to take place at the mid-way point and some traditionalists won’t like it.

It’s not really clear whether or not Murillo and Paqueta know each other. However, the two Brazilian players were keen to swap shirts and did so during the half-time interval.

The Reds player doing the swap was spotted on the live coverage of the Sky Sports footage. It was an intriguing clip and showed the pair handing over the shirts and heading off down the tunnel.

Forest will hope Murillo injury isn’t too bad

Murillo has proved a quality signing for the Reds. He’s a player who signed for the club in the summer transfer window for just £11 million and he looks like a real find.

One brilliant aspect of the talented player is that he likes to play out from the back. He’s class at picking out a pass and isn’t afraid to dribble with the ball either.

Hopefully, the injury he’s sustained today isn’t too bad. Murillo is going to be vitally important to Forest this season and everyone at Forest will have their fingers crossed for him.
