Arsenal-owned left-back Nuno Tavares has deleted his Instagram account after being left out of the Nottingham Forest squad.

Tavares is on loan at Forest from Premier League rivals Arsenal at the moment.

So, what is happening with Nuno Tavares? Let’s take a look.

What’s the story?

Well, Nottingham Forest took on Brighton and Hove Albion at the City Ground in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Forest lost the match 3-2. Brighton ended the game with 10 men.

Nuno Tavares was not part of the Forest squad. The 23-year-old left-back is on loan at the Reds from Arsenal at the moment. The Portuguese youngster moved to the City Ground in the summer of 2023.

As you can see below, Tavares has reacted to being snubbed again by Forest by completely deleting his Instagram account.

Forest are 14th in the Premier League table at the moment with 13 points from 13 matches.

Steve Cooper’s side are eight points above the relegation zone.

Nuno Tavares needs to leave Nottingham Forest and go back to Arsenal

In my opinion, Nuno Tavares needs to consider his future. I believe that the left-back should terminate his loan spell at Nottingham Forest and move back to Arsenal.

It is just not happening for Tavares at the City Ground at the moment. Forest manager Steve Cooper clearly does not fancy him.

After all, Cooper is not even keeping Tavares in his matchday squad. That tells a lot about what the Forest manager really thinks of him.

Tavares has made one start and two substitute appearances in the Premier League for Forest so far this season.

I think that it would be best for Forest and Tavares to part ways now. There is no point in the left-back staying at the City Ground.

The Portuguese youngster could probably find another club to go out on loan to in the second half of the season.
