Paul Merson has shared who he thinks will win on Saturday when Nottingham Forest meet Everton.
The Reds are in 15th place in the Premier League after two consecutive 3-2 defeats to West Ham and Brighton.
Everton were thrashed 3-0 by Manchester United last weekend but largely their form hasn’t been bad.
A 10-point deduction has seen them slip below Forest in the table though and they have work to do once again.
Merson shares who will win – Nottingham Forest or Everton
Forest fans won’t be surprised that Merson has reverted to type this week.
After predicting a Forest win last week against Brighton – and being wrong – he’s decided to go for Everton this weekend.
Merson told Sportskeeda: “I’m gonna go with Everton here. It’s a massive game for them. If they lose this game to Forest they’ll be 12 points behind them.

“Forest are one of the teams that Everton will be looking to chase down and therefore, they need those three points here.”
Merson has delivered the verdict of 2-0 to Everton and he doesn’t even fancy Forest to score at the City Ground this weekend.
Forest must go for it against Everton
It’s emerged this week that Steve Cooper retains the backing of Evangelos Marinakis. However, he does need some positive results quickly.
Cooper is trying desperately to find a winning formula. He has 13 players to blend into his team and Forest have won just three games this season.
It would be a huge bonus to beat Everton. Things would look rather rosey once again ahead of two winnable away games at Fulham and Wolves in the next week.
Hopefully, Merson has got this one badly wrong once again.
