Nottingham Forest lost 5-0 to Fulham last night and after the game, Willian sent a message to Murillo on Instagram.
Forest were second best for well over an hour at Craven Cottage as Steve Cooper was pushed closer to the brink.
The Reds shipped three second-half goals to leave the head coach with far more questions than answers about his current squad.
Willian was a transfer target for Forest in the summer and he actually chose to reject a contract offer from the club.
Last night he was in fine form for the Cottagers and despite his advancing years, he may have proved a useful addition.
Willian sends message after Forest defeat
There’s likely to be a Corinthians link here somewhere, although the two players are at opposite ends of their careers.

Willian and Forest star Murillo enjoyed a warm embrace at the end of last night’s game and there was also a message on Instagram.
The 34-year-old posted on his Instagram story a photo of the two players hugging at the end, with the words: “Nice to see you, my bro.”
Murillo has kept his place in the Forest team since making his debut against Brentford back in October.
He hasn’t disappointed and already it’s quite clear why Manchester City considered bidding for Murillo before Forest signed him.
Murillo key to Forest fortunes
The 21-year-old is a quality player and he already looks like money well spent from a Forest perspective.
It’s bizarre that since Murillo came into the team, Forest have won just one game of football and that simply won’t do.
Forest need all of their top players to be fit and firing in the coming weeks as the games start to come thick and fast.
That includes Murillo and he will hope that more positive results can be on the horizon in the near future.
