Fabio Silva has risked upsetting Wolves supporters after sending a classy message to Nottingham Forest star Morgan Gibbs-White.
The Forest man departed Wolves in the summer of 2022 in a deal that could eventually earn Wolves around £42 million.
Gibbs-White was in decent form at Molineux yesterday as he was handed the chance to start in a position where he’s most natural.
Silva sends classy message to Gibbs-White
The 23-year-old has been a bit of a slow burner at Forest this season. Gibbs-White has scored once and claimed two assists and for a player of his class, that simply won’t do.
Hopefully, Forest can continue playing Gibbs-White through the middle. He looks more at home in that area of the pitch and it’s fair to say that he’s not a winger.

After yesterday’s game, Silva took to Instagram and risked upsetting Wolves fans. The striker said: “Always good to see you, my brother.”
Gibbs-White upset the Wolves fan base in last year’s Carabao Cup quarter-final. He celebrated in front of them after Forest knocked Wolves out on penalties to reach the semi-final.
Forest need Gibbs-White in central role
It’s madness to think that Forest would pay such a large sum for a player like Gibbs-White and then play him out of position. In recent weeks it’s been a case of needs must but this was a nice change of pace yesterday.
The man who helped England win the Under-21 European Championship in the summer is an important player for Forest. Steve Cooper is fond of him and he values his input as a player and as a leader.
Goals and assists will come for Gibbs-White at Forest. The Reds need him to stay fit and Cooper needs to keep utilising him through the centre of the pitch.
