The defender is a fan favourite at the football club. He always gives his all and with Forest desperately looking for a consistent run of form, Niakhate is a leader of the pack.

After the 2-0 defeat to Tottenham, Niakhate has come out on Instagram to urge the supporters to stick with the team.

He said: We are living a tough moment together. You are asking for more and you are totally right. Again yesterday you was here for us. We will make sure to be here for you next Saturday against Bournemouth in OUR Home and give you what you deserve ❤️NO ONE GAVE UP. NO ONE WILL GIVE UP.”

Forest have to stick together

The Reds need a win pretty desperately and Niakhate knows that. Next Saturday, Forest face Bournemouth at the City Ground and with tough games to come, three points are a must.

Niakhate is still finding his way a little bit with Forest and in the Premier League. The defender is a decent player and he does seem to thrive on playing in the current system.

The player doesn’t need to worry about the Forest faithful bringing the noise. Forest fans are as loyal as they come and once again the Reds will be out in full force on Saturday.
