Nuno Espirito Santo has been praising Morgan Gibbs-White after checking in at Nottingham Forest this week.
The Reds star arrived at the City Ground from Wolves in 2022 and during his time at Molineux, he worked under the 49-year-old.
Gibbs-White has been a pretty useful signing for Forest, with the player scoring five goals and claiming eight assists last season.
It would appear that the Forest playmaker rates Espirito Santo and in 2021 when he left Wolves, Gibbs-White tweeted his best wishes.
Espirito Santo lauds Forest star Gibbs-White
The new head coach will be busy getting to know his players. However, he’s already aware of the quality that Forest star Gibbs-White possesses.
Espirito Santo will surely call upon the star man at the weekend and it will be fascinating to discover how he will get on under the new man.

Ahead of this weekend’s game, the boss told BBC Sport: “Morgan is a father now. He is a man, we met when he was 16 and grew together.
“Morgan is better now; he was young, the talent was there. Steve (Cooper) got him on a very good level, and he is achieving the right moment to make the next step. He is more mature.”
Forest need star man to roll his sleeves up
When things don’t go right for Gibbs-White he can never be criticised for not working tirelessly hard at his game.
Gibbs-White won’t be happy with his Forest goal contributions this season, however, with just one goal and two assists to his name.
Last season was a decent season for him. His 13-goal contributions helped the team stay in the Premier League and technically he’s brilliant.
It’s going to be fascinating to see how Gibbs-White performs under Espirito Santo at Forest.
Perhaps more intriguing is the position that Espirito Santo will utilise him at Forest, with Cooper often using him in a wide right role this season.
Gibbs-White takes everything in his stride and Forest will be hoping he can produce the goods for the reminder of this season.
