Nottingham Forest could now miss out on Rocco Vata from Celtic with the youngster in talks with Bologna.
That is according to Football Italia.
So, what exactly is the situation involving Vata and could Forest come back into the race? Let’s take a look…
Bologna now in talks to sign Vata from Celtic
Well, it would seem as though Forest are going to miss out on the signing of Vata from Celtic.
According to Football Italia, the player is now in talks with Bologna over a move from Parkhead this month.
Several clubs have been interested in signing the young striker, with Forest linked to Vata previously.

The 18-year-old has been playing in the Lowland League for the Celtic B-Team and he’s on fire this season.
Vata has scored 13 goals from 21 appearances and he’s also stepped up to play for the Republic of Ireland under-21s.
On his debut for the under-21s, Forest-linked Vata scored twice in a game against San Marino and he really caught the eye.
It was around that time that reports of Forest being interested emerged but now he looks set to go elsewhere.
Forest look to have missed the boat for Celtic gem Vata
It looks as though the Reds are going to miss the boat here and it’s a shame as Vata looks to be an exciting player.
He clearly knows where the back of the net is and it will be interesting to see what role he plays with Bologna.
Looking at the latest reports it does feel as though a move is close with talks now having commenced.
There could be a Forest connection for Vata when he checks in at the Serie A club.
Swiss midfielder Remo Freuler is currently on loan with the team and it will be interesting to see if he gets to play alongside Vata.
