Nottingham Forest defender Neco Williams has been linked with a move to Leeds United this month and now he’s sent their captain an intriguing message.
The Forest man commented on Ethan Ampadu’s Instagram post yesterday.
So, what has Forest man Williams said to the captain of Leeds? We take a closer look…
Forest defender Williams sends message to Ampadu
Well, if you’re a fan of Leeds, you’d probably be forgiven for thinking there could be something in this.
Williams has been linked with a Forest exit, although Phil Hay said last week that he didn’t think the club would sanction his departure.
Leeds boss Daniel Farke does like Williams though and his message to Ampadu might have got the juices flowing for the Elland Road faithful.
The 22-year-old comments on Ampadu’s post following a 3-0 win for the Whites against Cardiff yesterday.

On a photo with Ampadu wearing the armband, he posted: “Oh my skip” and then proceeded to put the wondering eye emoji next to it.
Naturally, the intriguing element is the emoji and now it remains to be seen whether Leeds can sign him this month.
Could Williams sign for Leeds this month?
He certainly could but it’s hard to imagine that Forest will allow Williams to leave.
Right now, Williams is featuring quite regularly from the bench for Forest and he can operate on both sides.
Nuno Espirito Santo has alluded to the fact that he wants to work with a smaller squad and perhaps there could be scope for Williams to leave.
However, for that to happen, the Reds would likely need another full-back to come into the club and there are bigger transfer priorities.
Forest player Williams has been improved this season and as a result, it would be a shame to see him go to Leeds this month.
