Nottingham Forest are now facing stern competition to sign Gio Reyna from Sevilla this month.
This comes courtesy of The Guardian.
So, what is the current situation with Reyna and who will he sign for before next Thursday? Let’s take a closer look…
Sevilla want Forest-linked Gio Reyna
Well, it would appear as though the 21-year-old is a wanted man before the transfer window closes.
Yesterday, it was claimed that Forest would face competition for Reyna from Ligue 1 outfit Marseille.
Now, according to The Guardian, Forest are also trying to fend off interest from La Liga, with Sevilla in the mix.
Reyna was first linked with Forest on Tuesday night, with Jorge Mendes trying to get his new client hooked up with a loan move.
Reyna has fallen down the pecking order at Dortmund and is keen to leave in quest of regular first-team football.

The youngster does have a pretty burgeoning reputation though and he’s already made 120 appearances for the Dortmund senior ranks.
This season he’s fallen behind a number of other wingers and would like to move in search of football.
Forest are keen to add a deal that allows the club to buy Reyna at the end of his loan deal and talks continue to be ongoing.
Kevin Hatchard is seemingly a big fan of the player. He exclusively spoke to us on Reyna this week, calling the Forest-linked star ‘magnificent’.
Forest must make exciting proposal to wonderkid
This might come as a shock but in our view, Forest still have a very strong chance of landing Reyna this month.
Of the three interested clubs, Forest would probably be the side that can guarantee him first-team football during the second half of the campaign.
Marseille and Sevilla might be able to offer first-team football but ultimately, can they guarantee regular game time?
With Anthony Elanga injured and Callum Hudson-Odoi showing sporadic form at best, Reyna could see an opinion at Forest.
This looks like one to keep a close eye on. Right now, it seems as though next week could be a busy one.
