Nottingham Forest have been linked with a move for Tottenham winger Bryan Gil before the transfer deadline on Thursday.
This news comes from Will Unwin of The Guardian.
So, what has been said about Forest and their interest in Tottenham winger Gil? Let’s take a closer look…
Nottingham Forest want Tottenham talent Bryan Gil
Well, it would appear as though Forest are stepping up their attempts to land a winger before the transfer window closes on Thursday.
Now, a new name is on the list, with Will Unwin claiming that Bryan Gil is one name under consideration by Forest.
The 22-year-old signed for Spurs from Sevilla in 2021 but had found it tricky to hold down a regular place in the team.
During his time on the books in North London, he’s made 41 appearances and has also been out on loan to Valencia.
This season, the Spaniard has made just nine appearances in the Premier League, totalling just 185 minutes on the pitch.

Gil earned praise from Harry Kane back in January 2023, with the England captain calling him ‘quality’.
Who is Bryan Gil?
The youngster is a burgeoning talent who has failed to really get going during his time at Tottenham.
Gil has made 41 appearances for Spurs and hasn’t scored a goal but a large number of his outings have come as a substitute.
Gil has also played for Leganes, Eibar, Sevilla and Valencia during his career and a loan move would probably benefit his career.
At this stage, it’s impossible to know what Gil is capable of in the Premier League and perhaps the jury would remain out if he did sign for Forest.
Rumour rating: 5/10 – Given a lack of game time in the Premier League, it’s hard to imagine that this deal would cause a great deal of excitement.
However, there is clearly potential with Gil and Forest fans would be extremely wise to judge him on what he does on Trentside.
The Reds have seemingly revived the career of Anthony Elanga and hopefully the same can happen with Gil if he joins the club.
