Some more details have come to light regarding Nottingham Forest and their interest in Chuba Akpom.
The update has come from Fabrizio Romano.
So, what is the latest regarding Forest and their interest in Akpom? Let’s take a closer look…
Details of Forest deal for Chuba Akpom come to light
Well, it would appear as though Forest are pushing hard to get the signing of another striker over the line.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Forest want to take Akpom on loan and then sign him permanently in the summer.
The offer from Forest is that they will pay £14 million to Ajax should the Reds remain in the Premier League.

Akpom only signed for the Dutch giants in the summer, with the club paying £12 million to Middlesbrough for his services.
Forest crazy to do deal for striker
Taiwo Awoniyi returned from injury against Arsenal, whilst Chris Wood is also at the club.
Furthermore, Forest have also signed Rodrigo Ribeiro today and the youngster should be capable of providing competition.
Akpom has scored nine goals for Ajax in 20 appearances but landing him right now doesn’t seem to make much sense.
The 28-year-old fits a similar profile to that of Awoniyi and it all feels a little bit chaotic so late in the day.
Clearly, Nuno Espirito Santo wants to be well-stocked but this doesn’t smack of a signing that will pay off for Forest.
In our view, the player simply isn’t needed right now and Forest would be wise parking their interest in a player who flopped on loan at the City Ground in 2015.
