Serge Aurier is about to leave Nuno’s Nottingham Forest.
That is according to journalist Fabrizio Romano, who has named the club that the former Tottenham Hotspur right-back could now join.
So, what has been reported about Nottingham Forest right-back Serge Aurier? Let’s take a look.
Serge Aurier about to leave Nottingham Forest
Well, according to Fabrizio Romano, Serge Aurier is about to leave Nottingham Forest for good.
The Italian journalist has reported on X that Aurier wants to join Galatasaray and that the Turkish club are on the verge of reaching a final agreement with Forest.
As you can see, Romano had earlier reported that although the former Tottenham Hotspur right-back was keen on a move to Galatasaray, there were issues over the payment structure between the Turkish club and Forest.
However, it now seems that the two clubs have decided to open talks again and want to get a deal done.

The January transfer window in Turkey closes on February 9, which is the reason why Galatasaray are still able to sign players.
My View: Serge Aurier exit from Nottingham Forest was inevitable
In my opinion, it was only a matter of time before Serge Aurier, 31, left Nottingham Forest after the appointment of Nuno.
Nuno was appointed the Forest manager in December following the sacking of Steve Cooper, and we did predict here that Aurier would be one of the first players that the former Tottenham Hotspur boss would offload in the January transfer window. As noted in The Mirror, just weeks after taking over at Spurs in the summer of 2021, Nuno decided to offload him.
Aurier is out of contract at Forest in the summer of 2024, so it would make sense for the Reds to sell him now and get some transfer fee instead of losing him for free at the end of the season.
